
Constantin Westchiloff

Constantin Westchiloff was a versatile artist known for his paintings, graphic art, and set designs. He studied at prestigious art schools in St. Petersburg, including the Higher Art School of Painting, Sculpture, and Architecture under Ilya Repin. Westchiloff gained recognition early in his career, exhibiting his works while still a student and receiving notable commissions.
His artistic talents extended beyond painting, and he actively engaged in scenography, designing stages and costumes for various theaters. During the First World War, Westchiloff found himself in Italy, and his works were featured in prominent magazines.
In 1922, he emigrated fr om Russia and settled in France, wh ere his artworks continued to be exhibited. Later, in 1935, Constantin Westchiloff moved to New York and became a member of the Society of Russian Naval Officers in America. Throughout his life, his creativity and artistic contributions were celebrated through numerous exhibitions, leaving a lasting impact on the art world.
