
Yury Tulin

Yuri Tulin was a talented Russian artist, born in 1921 in the Tver region. He pursued his passion for art from a young age, attending various art studios and schools in Leningrad. Despite the outbreak of World War II, Tulin remained in the city and continued his studies at the Leningrad Institute of Painting. After the war, he resumed his education and graduated in 1950.
Tulin's artistic career flourished as he participated in numerous exhibitions and gained recognition for his portraits, historical compositions, and landscapes. One of his most renowned works was "Lena River. 1912," which earned him the Grand Prix at an international art exhibition in Brussels in 1958.
He became a member of the Leningrad Union of Soviet Artists and received prestigious titles, including Honored Artist of the Russian Federation. Yuri Tulin's art is cherished worldwide, with his paintings found in major museums and private collections across different countries.
He passed away in 1983 in Leningrad, leaving behind a lasting legacy in the art world.
